What will the role look like?

• you will save the day if there’s a breakdown delivering timely reactive support. Alongside your day to day, you’ll get involved in CI and project work including equipment servicing. You’ll also play a key part in the on-going growth of a high performing site.
• You and your colleagues will take a proactive approach towards the maintenance, repair and improvement of our equipment, completing all predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance.
• You will help to develop world- class engineering procedures, with an ongoing focus on continuous improvement, leading and facilitating this through different areas of the manufacturing site.
• You will initiate root cause analysis investigations, implementing corrective actions and improvement plans.
• You will have a desire to support site on their continuous improvement journey

What do I need?

• Strong experience as a multi- skilled, desirably electrically biased, engineer (shift engineer/ maintenance engineer/ engineering technician)
• Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within Manufacturing, Production and Process environments
• HND or apprentice trained
• Ideally you will have experience with fast- moving machinery, pumps, valves, PLC’s (Siemens), Site Services (steam generation plant, chilled water systems, compressors, waste water treatment processes), CIP systems (chemical cleaning plant)
• Computer literate – SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMI’s
