A proud, family-run dairy manufacturer and supplier, are looking for a new addition to the logistics team to support their consistently growing business. Our client has established themselves as an industry leader by providing high quality products in addition to delivering excellent customer service.


The Role

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will undertake all logistic and administrative duties to ensure accurate, safe, and traceable movement of products from the supplier or third-party processor to customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support trading directors in completion of orders; provide costings for business potentials; and assisting with customer requests
  • Inputting purchase and sales orders into the CMP database correctly
  • Arrange transport and delivery of products
  • Manage UK customs for import/export transfers
  • Effective communication with suppliers and customers to coordinate stock availability and fulfilment of customer orders


The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be capable of demonstrating:

  • Excellent IT skills – particularly Excel and CMP internal system (SLAM)
  • Good understanding of the Trading Supply Chain (end to end)
  • HACCP level 3
  • Excellent eye for detail and well organised
  • Dairy Science course (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills


Salary and Package

  • Salary c. £24,000 - £26,000 (dependant on experience)
  • Excellent bonus potential
  • Monday – Friday
  • Office based
