The Company

This exciting and passionate food and drink brand are growing fast. To help them achieve their ambitions, they are now seeking a talented food pioneer who can create, drive and deliver the food innovations strategy.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the direction of food, strategically creating a framework in order to review and plan product range from ideation to launch. You will guide the food team to create product development briefs for seasonal launches, utilizing commercial insights to guarantee success.

You will manage the quality team, providing motivation, guidance and opportunities, whilst also encouraging them to champion quality and consistency. You’ll also communicate across the wider business, defining targets, guiding commercial viewpoints and embedding key merchandising tools to drive sales. You’ll strive to create the voice of food, embedding support and strengthening brand values, all to contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The Person

This role requires an enthusiastic foodie with a proven track record of delivering NPD strategy from concept to launch. You will have an exceptional understanding of food trends, ingredients, seasonality and range planning in order to really influence the direction of this business. Brimming with ideas and inspiration you’ll have experience in bringing products to market that have pushed the boundaries in order to delight consumers.

We’re looking for outstanding senior candidates who have experience within strategic innovation management roles in QSR, casual dining, food manufacturing or food retail sector (ideally a combination) where you have led a team that has excelled in a competitive market place. You’ll be a proven and motivational leader who can inspire and instil confidence at all levels. Your project and people management skills will be second to none, and excellent organisation and influencing abilities are essential in order to achieve and exceed brand goals.
