The Company:

We are recruiting for a Production Planning and Despatch Manager to join the team at our Gainsborough site.

The role:

  • Establishing priorities for the production plan
  • Directing, managing and co-ordinating all despatch activities
  • Managing people and performance monitoring within the Despatch area
  • Achieving targets set by the Factory Manager including the efficiencies, product quality, customer specifications and delivery requirements
  • Finished stocks and stock control
  • Recording and monitoring of all returnable movements
  • Cost control

What we are looking for:

  • The successful applicant must have demonstrable experience of:-
  • Warehousing and/or logistics and/or production management within a complex and fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in production planning, implementing systems and procedures to drive and improve operational efficiencies and capability.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Level 3 or above Food Hygiene and HACCP qualifications and the IOSH Managing Safely qualification is desirable.
