They work in partnership with key players in the food chain to ensure food is safe, affordable, and nutritious that consumers can trust.

The job

As Technical & Regulatory Executive, you will support the development and pursuit of industry policy on behalf of members.

A key focus of the role is the provision of advice to members on scientific, technological, and regulatory developments in respect of relevant aspects of food safety and science.

Reporting to the Head of Food Integrity and Policy you will be responsible for:

• Monitor scientific, technical, and regulatory developments.
• Undertake industry consultations, including data collation and analysis.
• Assist with the representation of policies to all appropriate external bodies.
• Communicating policies clearly and accurately by keeping members informed through appropriate channels

Your experience

We are looking for an experienced individual with technical knowledge of the food and drink industry and expertise in food safety, food science and regulatory issues.

Experience in industry, trade association or similar organisation is desirable.

You will have strong administration and communication skills plus IT literate with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

The Technical & Regulatory Executive job is based in Central London and paying up to £30,000 according to experience.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.30 am – 5.30 pm with up to 2 days per week able to work from home.
