An exciting opportunity to join an ambitious market leading fresh prepared food manufacturer at their North London site.

Reporting directly into the Process Manager and being part of a passionate team driven by quality you will help develop innovative new product concepts ready to launch on supermarket shelves.

Using your experience, knowledge, and people skills to achieve technical and quality standards whilst maximising profitability will be key along with the ability to challenge current factory processes, look for improvements, efficiencies, and value engineer products as needed.

You'll be part of a supportive team, taking concepts from recipe sign off stage through to factory trials and scale up to launch. This will involve working closely with the factory team, planning, and organising resources in line with project timescales along with trouble shooting any operational issues along the way. Successfully collecting data from product trials, arranging samples for customers, and product analysis will then progress your product concept for you to co-ordinate pre-production and launch preparation. Post launch evaluation of the process in conjunction with NPD will then ensure the launch is valid for full scale production and final improvements are implemented as necessary to ensure that the products are manufactured to customer's high-quality standards.

Ideally, you'll have experience in a similar role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with an understanding of Food Safety and HACCP principles or you may have worked in a Technical or Production role or be a graduate with placement experience.

This role suits someone with a real interest in both product development and food manufacturing along with good attention to detail and organisational skills.
