Job Details

what you'll be doing

At innocent we’re going through an exciting period of growth – broadening both our products portfolio and the geographies we operate within, getting our delicious drinks in the hands of more and more drinkers across Europe.

We're looking for a technical manager to help us develop and implement our Food Safety and Quality management systems to guarantee the best drinkers experience and inspire wider change.

This is a “fluid” role (how we call it here) this means you could be working for any of the four technical teams and you'll be the person to identify and implement improvements to optimise resources and costs.

One day you could be developing and implementing our internal audit programme or creating new warehouse standards, other days you will be working on innovation projects or continuous improvement activities.

you'll have

We're looking for someone with previous food industry experience that has done some work within a factory environment either as a Quality or Technical Manager or someone who has been busy building up their technical skills by working with a food retailer or manufacturer.

You'll be a problem solver and comfortable at leading and bringing people on board to find solutions and implementing actions, whilst balancing quality with commercial and sustainability needs, as well as properly identifying risks and finding ways of mitigating them.

You'll have great communications skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels internally and externally. You'll also have experience of managing food safety and if you have some previous knowledge of drinks that will be the cherry on the top.

We're looking for someone with attention to detail,  resilient and a self-starter once direction has been set and agreed.

you'll get

The chance to build your knowledge in the world of less acidic foods, along with creating solutions to continue to ensure quality and  food safety.

Build your supply chain knowledge by working as part of  many cross-functional teams.

The opportunity to hone your supplier relationships and stakeholder management skills across a number of cultures.

You will help us to keep doing business the right way – keeping innocent one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work, using our B Corp status to inspire wider change, and reinforcing our culture of staying little as we grow big.

In return for everything you can bring, we can offer you an exciting, challenging role in a fast-growing and dynamic business, with plenty of career opportunities in the UK and across Europe as well as a competitive rewards package.  We also have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at. Take a look at our reward page for more details. If you think you have everything we're looking for and more, then we'd love to hear from you.  You'll need to get your skates on though, as applications close soon.

Dolly Parton may have worked Nine to Five but you don't have to.  We're all about being healthy and happy here at innocent so we're open to a chat about flexible working. No promises, but we reckon that if it's good for you, then it's good for us.

No agencies please.

Company

We want to create a business we can be proud of. So to make this happen, we need brilliant people who inspire and deliver change all around them. That's why we're always looking for talented, ambitious and altruistic folks to come and join us.

We think it's a great place to work and are lucky enough to have been nominated for a few awards to that effect. We've also won a few too, including the Times 100 Best Companies to Work For award, which sits proudly on our mantelpiece.

But if you don't have time to pop round and inspect our awards cabinet, why not watch this little film to see the people who work here tell it like it is.

Dolly Parton may have worked Nine to Five but you don’t have to. We’re all about being healthy and happy here at innocent so we’re open to a chat about flexible working. No promises, but we reckon that if it's good for you, then it's good for us.
