Excellent opportunity for an Operations Director to join a well-established SME and guide them on an exciting journey of growth!

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations Director to join a fast-growing food production company in Leicestershire!

This is a chance to join a well-established business and play an instrumental part in the company's plans to grow! This role will see you act as business consultant / advisor and overall site lead.

With a current turnover of around 15million, the plan is to triple this T/O in the next five years - exciting, ambitious but completely realistic!

This is a company who have great accounts across the world supplying into major retailers and customers in the UK, US, and further afield. You will need to be commercially astute and have the gravitas and ability to nurture and strengthen these relationships, as well as creating a pipeline for new and potential customer accounts.

As Operations Director you will report directly into the MD and take full ownership of ensuring the smooth running of the factory, leading the team in a role that is all about people and process!

You will have full accountability of factory operations including production, engineering, technical, hygiene, supply chain and H&S. It will also be your duty to ensure all manufacturing and commercial KPI targets are achieved.

You will be an influential leader, coach, and overall example for your team of approx. 100 colleagues, embedding a strong culture across the site.

To be considered for this post you will have been in a site leadership role before within the food manufacturing industry (ideally chilled) and be highly experienced across operations, supply chain management, and commercial! It is essential that you have experience with managing budgets, projects, and full P&L responsibility.
