This is a rare opportunity to join a fast moving successful business producing some of the most popular products in the UK. Supplying major retailers, this innovative business is expanding and leading the way within their category.
The Role
This essential role is responsible not just for quality assurance, but also ensuring that the production process is optimised. You will be the go to person on shift for issues with quality, and be on hand to advise the process team on how best to run trials based on your expert knowledge of the factory and its equipment. This role will bridge the gap between the operations and quality teams, and cover all aspects including paperwork, training and HACCP. You will need to have strong knowledge of food safety, and audit CCP’s regularly. You will also be involved in running taste panels and shelf life analysis, as well as challenging non-conformances and assisting the team with troubleshooting in the factory.
Personal Profile
• Degree in food related subject or equivalent experience
• Food manufacturing industry experience
• Ability to problem solve and self-confident
• Good technical understanding, and internal auditing skills.
