Hopefully you have opened up this advert as you are currently a Quality Manager looking for a new role in the food industry. If so there are 3 questions which will determine if this is the role for you. Do you have a good understanding of BRC V8? Do you enjoy managing a small team? Have you got experience working with the major retailers?

If the answer to the above 3 questions is yes than this could be the next role for you.

You will assist in leading the sites HACCP studies, manage the approval of suppliers, carry out internal audits, supplier audits and also manage the implementation of QMS so the role is very varied!

You will be in charge of food management and quality systems. You will need to make sure these are in line with BRC and Customer requirements.

As well as being based in the factory there will also be time spent in the office. The role will require you to prepare presentations, respond to customer complaints so good IT skills will be essential for the role.

Good team skills will be required for this role as you will work closely with the engineering and production team to drive quality and food safety.
