About the Hygiene Operative job

The purpose of your role is to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouses and surrounding areas, ensuring safety standards are always maintained.

Key tasks:

• Ensure a clean as you go policy is implemented.
• Clean warehouse according to cleaning schedule.
• Cleaning of relevant machinery & equipment.
• Collecting rubbish and ensure maintenance of bins.
• Vacuuming & Machine washing of warehouse floors.
• Clearing food waste from the production areas & chillers into bins.
• Using the wood/plastic/cardboard compactor balers.
• Maintain accurate paperwork.
• Ensure all cleaning materials are used correctly, following correct procedure.

Skills & experience required for the Hygiene Operative job

• Experience working in a food, beverage, FMCG or similar production environment is a great benefit.
• Knowledge of hygiene/cleaning procedures.
• COSHH or similar training is highly desirable.
• Food Safety, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety or related qualifications would also be a great advantage.

The Hygiene Operative job is based in West London and is paying £10.85 per hour.

The working hours are 5 days out of 7 on rotating shifts including some weekends, 6 am – 2.30 pm and 2.30 pm to 11 pm, with 30 minutes break.
