Our client based in multiple sites across the UK are searching for an S&OP Manager to join their exceptional Supply Chain team.  

Job Role
This is a permanent role within the Supply Chain Excellence Team, facilitating and supporting the cross functional approach required to meet the end-to-end S&OP process across the business divisions that delivers against all the budgeted targets to achieve or exceed the business growth and profit aspirations.

The S&OP manager will deliver their Sales and Operational Planning structure to the business divisions on a daily basis. Working with the Head of Supply Chain Planning and Logistics to improve processes and tools that are used in the delivery of an effective process.

Responsibilities
•    Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) 
•    Deliver the S&OP Structure within the Business 
•    Delivery of S&OP meetings against agreed content
•    Updating Continuous Improvements into all the S&OP meetings
•    Collation of RCCP plans to provide a single view of the business
•    Support Supply & Demand Planning activities and development
•    Identification and documentation of business GAPS
•    Capturing Risks and Opportunities from the business escalating to the relevant Execs
•    Prepare monthly S&OP decks using inputs from each site and its stakeholders
•    Facilitate S&OP meetings and collaborate with site stakeholders to challenge assumptions and provide a consensus approach to site performance and delivery of budgeted targets
•    Research business issues to define risks and opportunities 
•    Develop dashboards to provide transparency and single source of truth across functional areas to ensure alignment and optimal results 
•    Support the future development of supporting software i.e. Demand Client
•    Provide transparent production scheduling based on demand forecast
•    Support business divisions with market information and trends that provide analysis which drive business decisions relative to improving service level, efficiency and customer service via streamlining processes and cost savings projects (Continuous Improvement) 
•    Work with IT to design reports and processes that lead to simplification and enhanced business planning 
•    Monitor forecast accuracy and customer service KPI’s 
•    Identify industry best practices and continuous improvement to continually enhance the S&OP process

Personal Profile
•    Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload, meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure
•    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
•    Excellent attention to detail
•    Good literacy, numeracy and high degree of computer literacy
•    Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
•    Ability to contribute to and coordinate ad-hoc projects
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Flexible – able to change direction appropriately to meet job demands, and to accommodate working at other sites when required
•    Experienced S&OP professional with several years of experience
•    In-depth knowledge of S&OP procedures
•    Strong understanding of ERP system and key system functions related to demand planning, master scheduling and inventory management
