The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a NPD Technologist to join a progressive business where you’ll work on key projects, contributing to the development of new concepts and updating existing products in line with customer briefs.

You’ll be assisting with the preparation of internal and external presentations, developing new concepts and running taste panels to ensure this vibrant team stays ahead of the latest consumer trends and new products are at the forefront of innovation. You will manage recipes, costings, nutritional information as well as critical paths for each launch ensuring first class execution on all product launches. In addition you will support the Technical team to maintain product quality and regularly benchmark products.

The Person

We are seeking an ambitious and creative foodie looking to apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills in a fast paced innovations role. You will have an exceptional understanding of food trends, ingredients and seasonality as well as gained exposure to key aspects of the NPD process within manufacturing within the industry.

A result focused individual who operates with an efficient work style, coupled with attention to detail and good time management, has the ability to work to short deadlines.

You must have excellent communication and organisation skills coupled with the ability and enthusiasm to learn quickly and get started on new projects. You’ll also have a real passion for food and thrive on the hustle and bustle of a busy environment.
