Our client is a recognised global leader in their food ingredients sector. This exciting and broad-ranging position will give you the opportunity to be part of the commercial team developing marketing strategy for Western Europe and North West Africa.
You'll be responsible for driving the marketing plan, actioning global product launches, supporting the sales team and working with key customers on specific projects. In this role you will be involved in business development insights, marketing communications and reporting. The post holder can be located in the UK, or any country within Western Europe and the position will involve some travel as well as remote working. Team working is an essential part of this role, along with flexibility, methodical working and a can do attitude.
Set and manages marketing, communication, media strategy and tactical elements for the business in Western Europe and North West Africa.
Generate business insights for the sales team by analysing market, consumer and brand trends.
Outline key brand targets within current and new product range through dialogue with product development and European resources.
Manages the plans for new market entry.
Implements the media plan in support of advancing brand image in the market.
Actively participate in generating sales tools for specific meetings and general products and range that fit the needs of market.
Facilitate the deployment marketing campaigns.
Organise and manage relevant marketing events to support sales initiatives and customer events.
Fluent English language skills are essential (written and spoken)
Other language skills would be advantageous
Basic level of ingredients market knowledge
Good working knowledge of how to build value propositions
Demonstrated collaborative experience
Ability to manage a diverse range of projects and to deliver with high standards.
5 or more years experience in marketing or product management
Confident skills with Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP
Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
A Bachelor’s degree in a business or marketing field experience working in product management or marketing.
