As a Junior Buyer based in either Surrey or Cheshire you will be supported by the entire team to ensure that data meets defined standards and is accurately reflected in the central systems. You will also support the team to improve the quality of data.

Day-to-day you'll be responsible for all admin support along with procurement systems ie tendering platforms to support the team. Responsibility will lie with you for the creation and completion of templates for procurement portals, the publication of procurement reports to the market, monitoring of the messaging centre, production of customer agreements and monitoring their return, collation of various pieces of data to feed into Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and subsequent submission to my clients customer.

To be considered for this role your skill set will cover
  • Ability to work with a number of data platforms and systems
  • Skilled at analysing and evaluating
  • Comfortable working in a pressurised, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to address obstacles in a positive manner
  • Administration experience


You will stand out if you have experience of working in the food industry and are competent using Jaggaer, Cognos, or other procurement platforms along with MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and can project plan.
