Job Details

The job holder is responsible for optimising the performance and PSA for their area of accountability ensuring all team members are focused on zone performance and minimising losses and waste.

  • Co-ordinates the 4 hourly QCDM meetings ensuring RCA is applied as appropriate and key actions are escalated in a timely manner
  • Is accountable for ensuring all feedback regarding escalation is shared within the relevant zone.
  • Holds Zone owners accountable for ensuring actions that effect performance are closed out.
  • Escalates any service, performance or behavioural concerns on shift to SOM
  • Accountable for delivery of the key performance metrics of the balanced score card (e.g. TE, Waste, Volume Fill, PSA).
  • Will be required to build strong links into scheduling and responsible for the execution of an optimised schedule
  • Cover for colleagues absence as and when necessary
  • Carries out investigations on shift regarding performance/people matters when appropriate
  • Will work closely with the other functional coordinators to ensure any downtime is delivered to the right standard and the right time to maximise service delivery
  • Responsible for safety on shift
  • Will coach and support approximately 120 people on shift and is responsible for ensuring their performance on a daily basis.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Drives performance across the balanced scorecard
  • Communicates persuasively to win support (Can be direct/forceful as well as tactful/diplomatic
  • Empowers team and manages depth control appropriately
  • Sets high standards and manages team to adopt them consistently (formally and informally as required)
  • Demonstrates a passion for teamwork - leading & participating
  • Proven track record in developing teams
  • Communicates effectively at all levels from senior manager to front line
  • Manages, contains and resolves difficult situations (understands when to escalate and when not)
  • Willing to flex hours to support the operation as and when required
  • Consistently adheres to PepsiCo systems, procedures and practices
