NPD Samples Intern (12 month FTC)

An established and successful business experiencing recent growth and investment.  Suppliers of specialist ingredients into further manufacturing and retailers, sourced from high quality producers around the world, offering an opportunity for a student studying food science (or physical sciences) to have a 1 year paid internship with global business, supporting the NPD department with ingredient collection, sample making and submission to customers as well as working on new product solutions. 

Key Accountabilities

• Assist with the collection, ordering and delivery of raw materials

• Help prepare beverage solutions for internal and external customers

• Ensure the laboratory is clean and tidy at all times

• Ensure the laboratory is fully stocked with ingredients and consumables

• Assist the NPD Team with product panels & the recording of associated actions

• Support with sample ordering and delivery to the customer

• Assist with record keeping to ensure compliance to the QMS

• Keep aware of new beverages on the market and purchase for the NPD team to review

• Good organisation & planning skills
• Professional manner
• Able to work independently & as part of a team
• Initiative
• Experience of working in a food preparation environment is advantageous
• Scientific education / background
• Good PC skills – good knowledge of Microsoft applications essential
