This role is a new business management position first and foremost with the emphasis on finding new customers . The successful candidate will be equally at home developing new business by identifying key targets as well as maintaining and further development of existing business. You will be making regular visits to customers. Building internal relationships in the key areas of purchasing, operations, marketing and technical at all levels within the organisation. Liaison with flavour technicians and technical department to ensure the successful launch of new products. Developing relationships with all types of food production companies. Experience selling these products; vitamins, minerals, functional premixes - nutrition, fortification, energy, sports nutrition or extracts and flavours, will be of particular interest.
Proven success in sales, project management and planning, you will have some experience in both account management and account development
A commercially strong character with the passion to grow a set of UK clients
Ingredients sales experience within the UK
Able to hit the ground running, and be a real developer of new business
You will have the ability to persuade and influence
The best communication skills
You will know what excellent looks like
Ideally a food science or similar qualification
You will need to be willing to travel throughout the UK & if necessary Europe
