About Our Client

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic business that imports and exports its products across the globe. A long-standing family-orientated business operating out of their office in South Lincolnshire.

About the Role

As Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for preparing all documentation to support shipping and sales activities. This will align with current laws and regulations. you will work closely with the Shipping Manager, monitoring the movement of the products to ensure they arrive with the customer in a timely, error-free manner. Within that, you will liaise with 3rd parties, booking and identifying the requirements needed for the order. As you would expect, you will work closely across departments to ensure communication is maintained and runs smoothly.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience with shipping is not essential but would be desirable in this case. The business is open to investing in the right individual who has a passion and interest to learn and develop their career in Logistics, Supply Chain, and Shipping. Someone that is organised, articulate, and has strong communication skills is paramount. If you have experience previously, understanding import & export laws, would be beneficial along with experience handling 3rd party service providers like Fumigation & Chambers of Commerce, etc.
