Experienced Category Buyer required to join trading team to work in partnership with key stakeholders to deliver the buying plan and to achieve commercial targets.
This dynamic and ambitious buying and marketing group work with branded suppliers and private label manufacturers to deliver market-leading foodservice ranges for their members across chilled, frozen, ambient food, and non-food categories.
They have created an additional Category Buying role within the trading team who will play a key part in managing the continued growth of the business within a number of different food categories.
As a skilled Category Buyer with a minimum of two years' experience in either a wholesale, foodservice, or retail environment this is a fantastic opportunity to execute and grow your category experience. Your skills in developing and implementing category plans with key stakeholders will enable you to deliver the buying plan and ultimately achieve the business's commercial targets.
This role would suit an enthusiastic team player with a great personality who is hands-on with a great track record of delivering commercial results. As part of a small team with a flat structure the ability to connect and engage with key stakeholders to drive change collaboratively is key along with sharing best practice in this fast-paced environment.
You will have great interpersonal skills, will be fluent in Microsoft packages and ideally be CIPs qualified. Previous food buying experience would be highly advantageous.
