Senior NPD Technologist, Food, Worcestershire

This is a newly created Senior NPD Technologist position with a successful Food Manufacturing business.

Here you'll be working on a wide range of NPD & EPD projects within fast-paced, innovative product categories. You'll be deputising for the NPD Manager, supporting and mentoring the Junior NPD Technologists in the team. It's an ideal role for an experienced NPD Technologist looking to step up and take on more responsibility.

You'll be working closely with a number of leading retail customers, developing innovative new concepts based on the latest trends - particularly around health and nutrition. There's a good mix of products and customers so you'll enjoy a real breadth of projects to work on. You'll have full responsibility for your projects from concept to launch. You'll be customer-facing, presenting concepts, hands-on recipe development in the kitchen through to factory trials and launch.

It's a site-based role, part of the Commercial team where you have open-plan offices and the development kitchen next to the factories. Whilst you'll usually work Monday-Friday office hours, there will be occasions where you might be needed to run a factory trial at other times. There can be some travel to visit customers as well.

We're looking for proven experience running NPD projects for retail customers along with a keen interest in the latest food trends and confidence presenting your ideas.
