The role

  To provide administrative support to Group and Site based Technical Teams

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain accurate records using the appropriate business systems, applications, and databases ensuring quality assurance and technical admin systems are always audit ready
  • Supporting all European Sites with Technical Administrative requests and queries, providing advice on technological and regulatory developments in all aspects of food safety. 
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the internal testing regime of all raw materials used throughout the group, ensuring testing is completed to schedule, as per the risk assessment and that all deviations are thoroughly communicated and investigated. 
  • Screening supplier technical specification submissions and supporting specification completion when the need arises and supporting specification administration activities 
  • Review and support the maintenance of the raw material, packaging and supplier (including services) information and supporting documentation 
  • Screening artwork and feeding back comments to suppliers prior to technical manager final sign off
  • Reviewing and supporting the availability of raw material and packaging specifications to the Intake Teams / Technical teams across the European sites 
  • Supporting the QA Team in identifying risk and opportunity for improvement within the European Site Quality Management Systems and proactively addressing the observations through procedural reviews and updates. 

The Person

  • A food related qualification
  • At least 3 years experience within Food
  • Specification and artwork experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
