Client

I am working with an exceptional client of mine who are well-established and highly regarded within the industry. At present, they are looking for an experienced Maintenance engineer to join a strong and stable team of professionals. The right candidate will be a team player and an experienced individual who can bring a wealth of knowledge to the team and have a self-starter attitude.

What’s on offer?

Salary: up to £46,000 depending on experience

Working hours: 4 days on / 4 off / 4 nights on a rolling basis 7am - 7pm & 7pm - 7am

The Role

• Responsible for Mechanical maintenance of equipment Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping in all engineering areas Exercise good engineering practice ensuring all Health and Safety standards and requirements are fully adhered to

• Provide feedback on the effectiveness of the deployed maintenance strategies Generate reports for use by the engineering department and wider management team Support to Capital projects on an as required basis

The Ideal Candidate

• From an Electrical or Mechanical background with recognised qualifications such as City and Guilds or BTEC. Knowledge of fault finding and rectification Experience of working on sealing machines, PLC controlled process and packing equipment Experience of working in the FMCG market Experience in working with conveyor systems, air compressors and pneumatics, refrigeration systems and pressure systems. Use of lean systems such as six sigma
