Job Details
Experienced Specifications Technologist required for 12-month FTC to support a fast-paced food manufacturing site whilst they undertake a project.
My client is a leading chilled food manufacturer with multiple sites in the UK.
Due to a project drop in the next couple of months they require an experienced Specification and Artwork Technologist to join the team.
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract, to start ASAP.
Salary paying up to £36,000 for the right experienced person.
This is a Monday - Friday days-based role on site in Leicestershire.
Reporting into the Senior Technologist team, your key focus will be to ensure retail customer specifications, pack copies, and artwork are accurately set up and maintained.
You will be responsible for:-
- Working closely with the Raw Material Technologists to ensure that all the data is correct ready for adding to the retailer customer specifications
- Customer Specifications - To ensure compliance with both customer polices and wider regulations, create, review, and update as required. Updating relevant trackers and attending meetings associated with the Stage & Gate process from a specification perspective
- Artwork - to review and approve artwork files working closely with the Specification and Artwork Administrator
- Audit Preparation - To understand the responsibilities of the Technical Services team within 3rd party audit standards and customer codes of practices. To maintain documents as required working closely with the Senior Specification and Artwork technologist
To apply you will need to have several years' experience of working as a Specifications Technologist creating, reviewing, and updating retailer specifications.
You will have a solid understanding of retailer labelling guidelines, and excellent attention to detail.
You will need to be able to hit the ground running, as you will be working in an extremely fast-paced environment.
