As Development Technologist you'll be working on a wide range of NPD projects for major retail customers. It's fast-paced and no two days are the same. You'll be working on customer briefs alongside the Chefs developing recipes in the test kitchen. Calculating costings and nutritionals and arranging product samples. You'll be involved in product testing and benchmarking, reviewing competitor products, and food trends.


Based at a large, leading manufacturing site, you'll be developing new and redeveloping existing chilled food products for the supermarket shelves. You'll be looking at new ingredients and packaging, improving nutritional values of products, and creating brand new concepts for UK consumers.


Reporting into the Senior Technologist you'll help to ensure all projects meet the right deadlines, products are of a high quality, and have all related paperwork accurate and on time. You'll have full training and support and the opportunity to take on more responsibility as you develop. This vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion, and this is a business that offers plenty of opportunities for you to progress your career.

• Food graduate with some industry experience in NPD
