Job Details

This is a great opportunity for someone with a logistics background within a fast-paced Food Production or FMCG environment to join a rapidly growing business.
If you are driven, analytical, switched on, and have an eye for detail this could be the right time and company for you to really excel. Speaking of Excel… you will need to be a whiz, understanding systems, and always looking to identify and implement improvements across processes and spreadsheets to make sure operations run seamlessly.

This role ensures that all logistics processes are followed efficiently and to a high standard so that all customer requirements are being met. You will report into the Commercial Manager and will work alongside the Logistics and Planning Manager. You will be assisting with the full remit of the logistics operation and will be able to step in when they have any time off. This brings the opportunity to develop and become more heavily involved in the pick and pack operation over time.
The ability to make decisions, be systematic, and learn new systems will be key, alongside strong communication and having a proactive approach with an all-hands-on deck attitude to match the core values of this business.
The role will be mostly desk based with some operational and floor work, especially when new launches are busy, or you need to cover the Logistics and Planning Manager - you don't need to come with picking and packing operational knowledge, this can all be learnt within the role to help you grow.
