A successful, entrepreneurial company who supply a diverse range of products across international markets. Providing major retailers with innovative own-label products across food and non-food categories, they are now looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Quality Administrator. The role is based at their head office and gives you the opportunity to work with 3rd party manufactures.
In this broad role you’ll support the Quality Manager with a variety of tasks including maintaining and helping to evolve Quality Management Systems, reviewing and implementing procedures, and championing internal quality standards. In this role you will develop, keep track of, and advise on the performance and attributes of the company’s product portfolio.
You will also liaise cross functionally with diverse teams, increasing your confidence and technical knowledge. You will monitor and report non-conformances were necessary, handle customer queries or complaints, and also establish areas of improvement with internal quality standards. Along with this you will have direct contact with suppliers and external bodies to work towards achieving technical standards and evolving legislation.
This role would suit a Food Science or Technology graduate looking to kick-start their technical career and expand their skills. You may have previously worked in a retail or a branded business within the Quality or technical sphere, and ideally have good working knowledge of BRC, HACCP and QMS.
You must have excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills as you’ll be handling multiple projects and liaising with colleagues at all business levels. You’ll also need to be proactive and able to use your own initiative, thinking outside the box to consistently reach and exceed high standards.
