About Our Client

Our client is a leading fresh fruit specialist, who supplies fresh and prepared packed fruits to multiple retailers. Their expertise in fruit spans many categories, including tropical & exotic fruit, stone fruit, top fruit, and citrus.

About the Role

This role will include supporting procurement activities (e.g. planning, negotiation, procurement, relationship management etc.) across a range of fruit categories to ensure high-quality raw material provision to requirements and in line with commercial expectations. In addition, this role will include representing procurement internally, supporting management decisions and key value-adding activities, and externally, to customers and other important third parties.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the fresh produce and agricultural industries and will be looking to get into a commercially driven role. Preferably, you will have recently graduated with a degree in agriculture or food business. You will have good communication & influencing skills, work well within a team, and possess selling, time management, and organizational skills. Ideally, you will possess a general enthusiasm, operate under pressure, work tight deadlines and be a strong team player.
