Our client is a food manufacturer with a long-established history of supplying quality products to the major multiples.
Ensure that a safe working environment exists for the employees in the factory and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set out
Manage, coach and develop the hygiene team.
Provide a point of expertise with regards to equipment, chemical and microbiological knowledge pertinent to the hygiene-related activity and pro-active standards advancement on site.
Ensure that robust Hygiene Management Systems are in place to cover all areas and all site operations, incorporating daily deep cleaning, periodic cleans, interim/operational cleaning, operational support and CIP applications
Produce and communicate daily and weekly KPI data and reports to allow robust action to be taken and drive improvement.
Generate and communicate company and customer-specific reports as required
Ensure all aspects of site systems and practises are audited and improvements continuously made, leading to Best Practise
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Hygiene Management in a busy food manufacturing environment.
Be a qualified and organised individual with a flexible approach to work.
Results-driven to achieve KPIs.
Strategic and analytical thinker, with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication, both written and oral, to all levels.
Strong team and individual manager and motivator.
Expert in speaking, writing and understanding the English language.
What's on offer?
A starting salary of up to £45,000 following a probation period
Monday – Friday night shift, 40 hours per week
