Heading up a small team in the office and retail packaging facility, this dynamic role will have you reviewing their current supplier relationships and help the business transition from a start-up to a more mature business. Utilising your Supply Chain expertise, you’ll have full ownership of delivering the day to day activities as well as developing the business’ rapid growth strategy.
You’ll build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure SLA targets are met, delivering forecast accuracy metrics and the accurate management of inventories for the benefit of all parties. You’ll continue to drive supply chain improvements and make instrumental decisions that will push the business forward.
Additionally, an ethical mind-set and interest in sustainability is vital, as you’ll play a key role in influencing the team to make decisions which are both good for the organisation and good for the planet.
You’ll be a confident Head of Supply Chain with proven expertise within a food manufacturing environment, ideally having worked within the chilled supply chain. Due to the nature of this multifaceted role, a proactive and flexible approach is vital to thrive as business needs change, from specific and methodical project work to multi-tasking at peak workloads. With natural interpersonal skills building relationships inside and outside of work comes easily to you, and you’re able to utilise this to negotiate, influence and motive to secure business needs. Experience managing large and small suppliers as well as running S&OP process is essential.
