Manufacturing Manager

Just Food Recruitment, part of The JFR Group is recruiting for a Manufacturing Manager to join the Senior Leadership team at this well-established food manufacturer in Staffordshire.

Role purpose:

The role is to take full ownership and accountability for the operational performance across the factory through effective leadership, the use of lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools. The role will ensure the shift is fully resourced, engaged and prioritised to deliver and exceed targets within the areas of People, Operations, Cost, and Technical performance as well as overseeing hygiene activity in the area as required.

The role is Responsible for leading the shift from raw materials intake, processing (mixing and baking), & packing up to dispatch. The areas consist of several production lines, process area, stores and intake. The role will require communicating effectively with shift and to coach and develop a team that strive for the same goals and objectives.

Additional information:

• Shift rota: Week 1 Mon – Fri 0630 – 1430 - Week 2 Mon – Fri 1400 – 2200
• Salary: Circa £48,000
• Private Medical - BUPA cover for self
• 33 days holiday
• 3 months notice on either side (post probation)
• Contributory pension scheme
