Great opportunities for talented graduates with at least 12-months procurement experience within the FMCG sector to join a hugely respected food business.

These are truly great opportunities to work for a leading food manufacturing business. These are newly created, site-based roles to fulfil the needs of the business - so the chance to join during a challenging yet rewarding time in food manufacturing.

You'll work as part of the group procurement function and be instrumental in supporting your procurement colleagues in the coordination, management, and implementation of procurement initiatives and processes at a site-based level.

You'll support your individual site with the day-to-day procurement challenges and will be seen by the site as the first point of contact for escalation within procurement. It's a busy role with ever-changing priorities, looking at resolving problems and finding out the cause of issues whilst driving problem resolution and conducting Root Cause Analysis.

You'll be the key point of contact for any procurement requests for information and working with various departments on site to obtain, validate, and cleanse information whilst ensuring minimum contractual risk to the site at all times. You'll own and be responsible for the delivery of Supplier Scorecards and KPI's, enabling the successful delivery of the Supplier Management programme.

Working closely with procurement and the individual sites you'll identify any procurement risk and opportunities, promoting these with the appropriate function, driving added value and improved ways of working.

You'll need first class administration skills as you will support and manage procurement data and admin within the site, ensuring both integrity and timeliness, with clear communication as required to relevant stakeholders.

These are busy roles with ever-changing priorities, in an incredibly fast-paced environment. You will need to be resilient, driven, and not afraid of hard work. You'll need at least 12-months experience working within a procurement or similar function within a manufacturing environment, be degree educated, and ideally part CIPS qualified.

First class communication skills are essential as is the ability to make difficult decisions with a calm and measured approach. A full, clean driving licence is essential.
