Reporting into the Group Project Lead, it will be your duty to plan, direct, and manage the delivery of all capital projects across two major sites. Predominantly based in the NorthEast, however, an element of travel to other sites within the group is required. Leading a team of Project Engineers and working closely with the site leadership, you will need to be influential in your approach and have strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills to make this role a success.
You will be accountable for the development of all capital planned projects, business cases, technical projects, and tender packs, leading all transformation projects including line installations, site transfers, upgrading aged assets and equipment, site upgrades and extensions, and several energy projects including: water effluent and solar panel installations.
Managing a budget of £6m+ it's essential that you are financially astute and have experience with the managing multi-million pound projects and budgets. Striving to improve processes, you will be a driving force in embedding a Continuous Improvement culture across site, utilising several CI and Lean tools and techniques.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate excellence and expertise in the field of project management and engineering and have worked within the food manufacturing industry before at a senior level.
