Position Summary:



Reports to: Shift Operations Manager
Direct reports: None
Working Hours: 12 hour shift, rotating days & nights inclusive of weekends (5,4 shift pattern), average 42 hours per week.

Main Accountability:



The role holder will be responsible for managing all shift related issues within Warehouse as well as driving opportunities for future improvements to deliver a balanced scorecard across Cost, Service, Safety, and People. Directly accountable to the Shift Operations Manager, the Warehouse Performance Co-Ordinator will be the figure head of the shift driving service execution hour by hour escalating by exception.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for Warehouse providing operational direction for all on shift FLE's and support staff within agreed framework.
  • Balance competing priorities of day to day service execution with the deployment of the logistics strategy and annual priorities as directed by the SOM/WPC.
  • Support the delivery on shift of >98.5% on time in full (OTIF) inbound service performance to all accounts
  • Drive network execution error <0.15% striving for inbound excellence.
  • Responsible for Warehouse Resource Planning and Execution to deliver business needs inclusive of Job Rotation, Warehouse Shunting, Off shift activities, Agency provision.
  • Control and monitoring of Shift Performance hour by hour inclusive of corrective action and financial reconciliation through Shift Reporting tools.
  • Analysis of KPI file service data inclusive of Failures, Warehouse Timeliness and Rates to develop improvement plans in support of the continuous improvement program.
  • Ensure close liaison with key stakeholders including Transport, Warehouse Techs, Engineers and Yard Control to remove any blockers to delivery of service e.g. trailer availability.





What we are looking for:

  • Good people skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate a sound operational background. A proven record of High personal performance and High Safety Standards.
  • Knowledge of standard PC applications i.e. Word, Excel.
  • Knowledge of specialised PC applications i.e. PINC, IMI Warehouse, Qlikview.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast paced and complex operation.
  • Preferable. Experience of delivering coaching/training.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety at Work. Deliver the embedding of the LEAN QCDM process and support the delivery of LEAN COE.
  • Flexible 'can do' attitude to role and duties.
  • Must be keen to succeed in a Logistics operation, ideally demonstrating future potential. Able to flex working varying shift patterns.
