Customer Collaboration Manager - Sainsbury's, Waitrose & Ocado

SLOUGH HQ BASED WITH FLEXIBLE WORKING (TRAVEL TO CUSTOMERS AS REQUIRED) 

9 month contract with potential to go permanent

 

As our Customer Collaboration Manager, you'll have a clear passion for great customer service and collaboration in order to effectively and efficiently lead the short term execution and longer term planning for our Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Ocado customers. With trust and purpose, you'll align with internal and external partners to ensure that KP is ‘Easy To Do Business With’ and delivers ‘Great Service Every Day’.

 

As a Customer Collaboration Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for the end to end supply chain collaboration activities of three strategically important customers; Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Ocado.
  • Providing complete partnership with the commercial business unit. Working with very little supervision, analyse data, provide insight, to deliver forecast alignment with both the Customers Supply Chain and internal KP Demand/Commercial Team
  • Being a key stakeholder at monthly S&OP Account Surgery to ensure robust ongoing demand signal. Delivery of weekly forecast accuracy (>75%) and bias (+/- 7%) targets
  • Leading monthly 30/60/90, and Quarterly Supply Chain Review, meetings with all three customers
  • Utilising customer online portals/data and insights to ensure ongoing high service throughout i.e. base, core, promotional, seasonal etc.
  • Leading weekly service performance communication with Customer Supply Team and KP stakeholders
  • Accurate delivery of NPD / range revisions / Seasonal / activities / wastage mitigation / packaging changes on time and without any detrimental impact to service or cost to KP
  • Delivery of agreed weekly customer service level metrics @ 98.5% ISL
  • Leading the Advantage Group Survey (AGS) action plan with Sainsbury’s and Waitrose to achieve top third ranking within annual assessment
  • Planning and executing the KP Joint Supply Chain Business Plan’s (JSCBP)
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities across both process and cost efficiency in order for KP to be ‘Easy To Do Business With’ and ‘Best In Class’
  • Chairing Daily Service Calls to ensure short term execution and service and weekly KP Forecast Alignment Meeting to ensure accurate demand signal in to systems and site production
  • Delivering ongoing robust results, through strong internal relationships with key stakeholders, i.e. complementing Business Account Manager (BAM), Demand Planning Manager: Grocery, Business Account Manager (BAM), and Customer Supply Manager to support delivery of the KP ‘Volume’ and ‘Value’ plans
  • Review and manage the Age of Stock process and ensure all short dated product is managed through with the Customers

Key knowledge, skills and experience:

Experience of FMCG / Supermarket Retailer relationships would be advantageous

Strong working knowledge knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Experienced and capable relationship builder and influencer
