I'm interested in speaking to established food Quality Managers to become part of the Site Leadership Team at this branded food business.
This branded business has been feeding families for over 100 years. Their products are stocked by all the retailers and are a familiar site on the supermarket shelves.
The family feel extends throughout the work culture too. That's why staff retention is high - employees feel listened to, looked after, and empowered. Promoting a culture of engagement, investing in training and development, it all adds up to people feeling valued.
This factory-facing Quality Manager role will drive quality and technical improvements across the site. However, there'll be another string to your bow. As a member of the Site Leadership Team, you'll work closely with the Operations Manager, stepping in occasionally as his deputy, for example during annual leave periods.
It's a small site, easily managed, with around 35 SKUs, where you'll be responsible for a technical budget of c.£120K. Leading on all audits and customer-facing, you'll drive quality improvements site-wide. A stickler for detail, you'll review data set against KPIs to identify improvements, savings, and close gaps, ensuring the HACCP and QMS are updated to reflect any changes.
We're looking for someone who enjoys sharing knowledge, training factory-wide on food safety protocols, and helping people to grow and develop in their roles. The ability to engage with and influence others to achieve high quality standards is vital.
You will ideally be of graduate calibre, enhanced by intermediate HACCP, Food Safety, and Lead Auditor qualifications, this will be supported by team leadership experience gained in a food manufacturing environment.
So, if you're ready to flex and extend your food manufacturing knowledge, send me your CV and let's arrange a time to talk.
