THE H&S MANAGER

The focus of the H&S Manager is to elevate all aspects of health, safety across the business, improving all aspects of our current H&S system. This will involve:Compliance - Undertake compliance auditing to ensure that our client is compliant with all applicable H&S legislation, regulation and industry best practices associated with its operations.Risk - Maintain the H&S Risk Register - With others, Identify the hazards - Evaluate, Assess and Prioritise the Risks - Develop and Select controls that eliminate or reduce risks to acceptable levels.SOPs - Inclusion of the Risk Controls within our client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) - Our Safe Ways of Working.Training - Deliver training, instructions and information of the Montana Ways of WorkingBehaviours - Implementation and development of a Behavioural HSE Monitoring program (Compliance and Enforcement of the Montana Ways of Working); and the promotion of 'What good health, and safety working looks and feels like'.



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Will need to have strong experience in a similar H&S role from within the food industry. You will also need to have: NEBOSH (General Certificate)Experience of formulating, implementing and revising H&S policies and proceduresExperience of handling H&S/ Accident investigations.
