This opportunity has arisen – for the right person – to head up our dedicated Customer Services & Logistics Team. Do you want to be a part of this next exciting chapter for our business based on the beautiful Isle of Bute on the West Coast of Scotland ?

Candidate:

• Do you have proven supply chain management, logistics or business administration experience?
• Are you  able to demonstrate working knowledge of supply chain management software & tools?
• Proven experience in a Customer Services/Logistics management role, preferably within the FMCG manufacturing?
• Do you have the ability to inspire, manage and lead a team through change and growth?
• Are you highly organized & details orientated?
• Do you have excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver to demanding  deadlines?
• Are you a great people manager who has the ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally?

Role:

As Customer Service and Logistics Manager you will report to the MD. You will manage a small talented team who ensures the business delivers our products to our customers on time and in full every time!

• You will define and evolve future global logistics strategy.
• Identify and implement opportunities for logistics service and cost optimisation.
• Nurture relations with existing logistics providers.
• Building and maintaining long term relationships with customers.
• Promoting a culture of long term savings on transport costs.
• Involvement in the IT system that tracks inventory & the supply of goods.
• Monitor Customer Service/Logistics performance
• Manage & motivate the Customer services and dispatch team members.
• Assess total cost of company logistics services
• Obtain forecasts from customers where possible.
• Give presentations
• Attend meetings with customers’ sales/logistics teams
