The Company

This premium food manufacturer, who supply delicious ambient products to the UK market, is looking for an experienced Supply Chain expert to support their growing business needs.

The Role

Reporting into the Operations Director and working closely with the procurement, warehouse and production teams, you will be responsible for managing end to end supply chain and ensuring that all items are ordered and delivered on time in full. Utilising your Supply Chain expertise, you’ll ensure smooth operations and flow of goods, optimum stock level and supplier performance. You’ll build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure SLA targets are met, delivering forecast accuracy metrics and the accurate management of inventories for the benefit of all parties. You’ll continue to drive supply chain improvements and make instrumental decisions that will push the business forward. 

The Person

You’ll be a confident Supply Chain professional with proven expertise within a food manufacturing environment. Due to the nature of this multifaceted role, a proactive and flexible approach is vital to thrive as business needs change, from specific and methodical project work to stimulating multi-tasking at peak workloads. With natural interpersonal skills, building relations inside and outside of work comes easily to you and you’re able to utilise this to negotiate, influence and motive to secure business needs.
