Technical Services Administrator | Food Manufacture| Lincolnshire


Are you an experienced Technical Services Administrator / Coordinator working within Fresh Produce or Food manufacturing? If so, we'd like to hear from you.

About our Client

We are working with a large importer of frozen vegetables, fruit, pulses, rice and pasta to name a few and supply into the retail sector, B2B and food service sector.

About the Role

This fantastic Technical Services Administrator role will keep you busy, it is very varied and will include the following duties.

Customer Complaints management,

Generating KPI reports for customers, suppliers and board meetings

Supplier Approval Maintenance

Supplying customers with relevant information regarding grower base certification

Specification Management including administration of the generation and maintenance of customer product specifications for existing products and new product

Administration and management of HACCP, TACCP and VACCP information

Compiling insight data on food trends to feed into NPD process to create focused product development.

Assisting the Product Manager in the administration and management of the sample submission process including logging of sample requests

Advising customers of delivery schedule for samples.

Liaising with customers regarding follow up to sample submissions to then log these on the system and report back to the business on success rates

The Ideal Candidate

For this role, you will be currently working in a similar role as Technical Administrator / technical services position within a fresh produce/food manufacturing business. Ideally, a food science or related degree or equivalent relevant experience within the food industry will be beneficial. As the role is varied, the ability to multitask and manage a number of projects at the same time is required. Excellent IT skills including knowledge of working with Microsoft OS, online customer platforms etc. Excellent communication skills at all levels including communicating with our Retail, Foodservice and B2B industrial customers and supplier base, along with good attention to detail.
