Production Supervisor (Manufacturing Team Leader) – DAY SHIFT (4 days on, 4 days off)

Up to £32,500 Basic Salary + Benefits

As Manufacturing Team Lead your area of accountability will be across all manufacturing areas (Mixing, Production and Packing). You will be required to develop your teams to perform to the highest standards, creating a positive team environment which produces products safely to the highest quality, the lowest cost and ensuring that line performance targets are met (OEE, Line Speed & Planned Downtime). With cross functional teams (Engineering and Technical). you will be required to ensure that the kit is functioning to the correct standard and that all people and areas adhere to all policy and procedures defined by site. You will be required to always conduct yourself professionally, demonstrating individual behaviours which are in line with the values, being supportive and respectful to your colleagues. This is a requirement of the role as you will be expected to cover the Shift Manager in his/her absence (meeting cover and at times of holiday).

You:

• A good all round general education, GCSE’s or equivalent in English & Math Preferable previous experience in a similar role in food manufacturing or catering environment Knowledge of machinery and experience in chemical use and handling Possess good IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word & Excel Leadership skills to motivate staff and manage a team
