THE INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER

The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for inventory management of our clients inventory across all 3PL's, and within their sites.

Overall Responsibilities:Ensuring all 3PL partners provide their contracted service in accordance with agreed perpetual inventory checks, KPI's and regular review meetings.Ensuring inventory in each location is correctly managed by each 3PL, and excellent level of book to book accuracy is maintained between 3PL and our client's systems, being audit-ready at all times.Management of team of 6 stock controllers based in UK, Continuous improvement of both 3PL service and stock control functions (eg via EDI, automation of workflows)Invoice approval for 3PL related logistics charges.



THE IDEAL CANDIDATEMinimum of 3 years experience in logistics via 3PLsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop internal & external customer relationships to a senior level.Experienced team manager, with good track record of developing team membersSAP Super-UserCommercial awarenessA good understanding of business processes essentialDigitally competent and confidentGood numeracy skillsGDP trained
