Quality Assurance Manager

As our Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll manage the day-to-day Quality function for the site. Responsible for driving food safety and quality standards as well as managing a team of Quality Technologists. The role is a senior position within the factory you’ll be expected to report into the factory Senior Leadership Team.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Drive Food Safety and Quality Standards within the factory including and through the maintenance of the sites QMS

• Management of 3rd Part Quality and Food Safety audits

• Coaching and Supporting the IWS DMS implementation in the factory, specifically but not just confined to the DMS from the Q -Pillar

• Internal Auditing of site to BRC, AIB and customer standards and the sites internal auditing system / audit team

• Managing Non-conformances and coordinating corrective actions on site

Essential knowledge, skills and experience:

• Food Science / related Degree or equivalent

• Demonstrable experience in a Technical/Quality Management position

• Lead Auditor qualified

• Level 4 Food Hygiene

• Level 4 HACCP

• Experience dealing with external customers

• Experience managing QMS and HACCP system

• Experience of FMCG processes

• Experience Own label and Branded label products

• Proven track record in Hygiene Systems, QMS and HACCP

• Experience leading BRC and AIB Standards audits
