Opportunity for an experienced NPD Technologist looking to step up and take on more responsibility. Here you'll be deputising for the NPD Manager and managing projects from concept to launch. It's a close-knit, supportive, and hands-on team working on NPD and EPD projects with a real focus on nutrition and health.

You'll have the chance to work on a breadth of projects; creating meals for specific dietary requirements and new concepts based on the latest food trends. Projects can involve redesigning traditional favourites for specific consumer needs and developing products specifically for plant-based diets. There's loads of variety and you'll be involved from ideation stage through to product launch.



You'll be hands-on in the development kitchen, developing recipes and creating samples. You'll be responsible for costings, assessing nutritional content, allergens, and dealing with suppliers to ensure all ingredients specifications are in place. You'll work closely with the production teams to take products through trials to launch.



A key part of the role is driving the foodie culture, assessing the latest trends, and helping to create a pipeline of innovative new products. You'll be involved in customer presentations and chairing NPD meetings working with cross-functional teams across the business.



To succeed here you'll need an evident passion for food, keen interest in the latest trends, and culinary knowledge. You'll already have experience in an NPD Technologist role and a Food Science or related degree would be beneficial. There will be some travel involved, so you'll need a driving licence and car.



The role is mainly based at the production site and development kitchen with flexibility for homeworking according to the project needs.
