THE HEALTH & SAFETY COORDINATOR

The focus of the Health & Safety Coordinator is to elevate all aspects of health, safety across the business, improving all aspects of our current H&S system. This will involve:Coordinating the Health & Safety Committee, driving health and safety initiatives.Carrying out risk assessments and the recording and auditing of relevant documents.Liaising with the regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and mandatory regulationsInvestigating any incidents on site and producing subsequent reports and recommendations.



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Will need to have strong experience in a similar H&S role from within a manufacturing environment. You will also need to have: Recent experience of working in a warehouse/production environment Proven experience in a similar H&S role plus a NEBOSH, IOSH or other relevant H&S qualification. Effective communication skills to share, involve and update others on important issues.Strong IT skills with the ability to accurately capture data and create reports, mainly in Google sheets.
