The business

Our client is a market leader into the retail sector. They are looking to strengthen their Technical team with the appointment of a junior technologist.



The role

As junior technologist will be responsible for the management of customer and internal specifications, managing the due diligence process including updating and maintaining customer and internal due diligence systems and databases.

You will create reports/trackers and KPI summaries to be sent to customers and suppliers. Follow up of customer and supplier rejections and quality issues where necessary.

Collect and collate crop quality information from suppliers for internal and customer stakeholders



The candidate

The ideal candidate will currently be doing a technologist role within a fresh produce/food business or has done a 1-year placement within their degree. Good attention to detail is a must have along with a willingness to learn. You will build good working relationships internal and external for the business.



Option for hybrid work 3 days in the office 2 days from home
