Adverts for Buyer jobs tend to be quite same-y, don't they? So why should you apply for this one, over the others?

It won't be dull - you would definitely have your work cut out for you. You would need to use your experience in buying raw materials for an FMCG manufacturer and your negotiation skills to help mitigate the rolling price increases that manufacturers are experiencing from their suppliers.
