Development Technologist

The Company

An international brand, passionate about innovation and sustainability are expanding their presence within the European markets.  They have a highly talented team and are looking for a curious and passionate Development Technologist to join the team.

The Role

You will be supporting the NPD Manager to deliver the product development strategy and working with global teams to deliver exciting new products. You will be supporting the team on various projects from concept to launch, getting involved in all aspects of NPD / EPD.  This will include recipe formulation, product documentation, working with process and technical teams to carry out product line trials, validation testing and sensory analysis.  

The Person

This role will suit a technically minded Product Developer ideally with a Food Science degree and some experience of working in a concept to launch NPD role in a food or drink manufacturing environment. You will have a real passion for developing food & drink products and a good understanding of product formulation, ingredient functionality, hands on development, scale up, and product launch experience.

You will be able to support NPD projects, understand the NPD stage gate process and have some experience of working with ingredient suppliers. You will be a natural communicator with the ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships.
