Excellent opportunity for a Factory Manager to join a well-established FMCG business.
Our client is a well-established FMCG company who have a fantastic reputation across Scotland and the UK and are now looking for a credible individual to lead all factory operations.
As Factory Manager, you will have full accountability for operations including all production and packaging areas, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the site.
This role is based at a fast paced, complex site with a large head count, which ultimately means that there will be challenges, but in the same breath, it also means that this is an excellent chance for someone to put their own individual stamp on it and make their mark!
You will need to be an influential leader with a passion for building effective teams, willing to get stuck in and spend time with the team on the shop floor, offering coaching and mentorship where required.
My client is looking for a credible individual with a real gravitas who will be well respected by the team and can demonstrate a willingness and capability to operate across the full bandwidth.
You will be the driving force for promoting a one team culture across the site, ensuring that the whole team understands the vision and journey that the business is on.
Often the face of the company with audits and site visits, you'll need to be commercially aware, able to build strong relationships and have the credibility and confidence to present ideas, successes, and failures to the to board.
It's refreshing to know that this is a business that fully understands that it's the people in place that make them a success, they now need a strong, intelligent factory manager to help them achieve their goal.
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have been in a senior site leadership role before and have worked within the FMCG industry! You will have gravitas, emotional intelligence, and the ambition to achieve in this role and grow within the business.
