The Role

Reporting to the Quality & Food Safety Manager, you’ll be assisting with the implementation of quality systems and procedures in line with company values as well as the latest legislation.

Your responsibilities will include:

·              Leading key day to day quality and food safety activities ensuring the required standards and controls are maintained as well as allergen management, incident management and pest control

·              Investigating and resolving any analytical failures or non-conformances, applying effective solutions to reduce risks and keeping customers informed at all stages

·              Organising and attending production, hygiene and packaging audits to ensure all customer, company and legislative requirements are met throughout the business including internal teams and external suppliers

·              Playing an active role within the HACCP team, supporting customer audits and maintaining quality management systems whilst reviewing current procedures to drive continuous improvements

The Candidate

We are looking for a Food Science or Technology graduate who has previous experience of managing quality systems for a food manufacturer. You must have excellent organisation and project management abilities as well as first class communication skills as you’ll be working with internal teams to drive projects forward. You’ll also need a good technical understanding of food manufacturing and legislation requirements such as HACCP level 4 and Lead Auditor qualification.
